waited for my ordered items for over a week now

I ordered 2 blouses, a dress and a bag from an online store, the other week (July 18th). Payment was to be made thru a G-cash outlet (remote payment system thru Globe, a telecom company). So, I sent off my helper to make the payment thru a payment outlet near our place, but unfortunately they were closed. I told the seller that I would have some delays in sending the payment because the outlets near our place are closed and my helper don't know her way around the city to look for other outlets there. I also explained that I won't be able to do the errand myself, since I have a newborn that I can't just leave in the house, and would need to wait till the weekend so that my sister can babysit. Another option was just to meet her up somewhere close, since she is living just from the next town.
She told me I can't postpone the payment because she's already ordered for them from her supplier. And, she can't meet up because she's sick.
So, the next day, I asked my helper if she's okay about having to go farther from our place to send the payment, because I really need it done. I don't want to fail from my commitment to buy and pay for the items. Fortunately, she was able to get it done and got back home safely. I, then, told the seller that payment has been sent.
To my disappointment, she sent me a text message a few hours after that the items won't be shipped until the following Saturday, which is today, Jul 28th, because the suppliers hasn't shipped the items to her, and she's sick. And, she had to wait for more orders so that they could be shipped at once and she could save on shipping. This just means, that I really didn't have to send her the payment urgently.
I was really upset, that I tried all means to get her the money, all because she said she already placed the order that day and can no longer back out from the suppliers. Then, I'd find out that she won't be able to send off the items within the usual 2-3 days from payment. She could have just confirmed that it was ok for me to just send the payment a few days later when its more convenient for me, so I didn't have to risk my helper's safety in the city.
I do hope Id get the items today, otherwise, I'll post complaints on her FB page and bug her with my messages. This would have to be my last transaction with her.

There was an online seller before that I had read the terms that your order will not be shipped unless you make a payment. So you are not obliged to make the payment on a certain day because of that condition. They will just consider your order as final once you send your payment. But in your case, maybe there is some differences when it comes to order and payment scheme. Well, perhaps you just have to be more careful the next time you transact with online stores. If you will analyze it, she should not even told you that you can not delay the payment because she have not in the first place shipped you order.

Yes, that's what I thought. She just bluffed to get me to send in the payment right away. I was also very excited and interested in the items, so I did all I can to get them.

That is why until now I never dare shopping online because I am afraid that similar thing might happen.

Well, I actually thought she would be a reliable seller, since I've dealt with her once before. It was a fast transaction. I'll just be more patient this time, and I swear I'll never get anything from her ever again.

Sorry to hear about your predicament. I feel your disappointment because had I been in your situation after making sure I keep to my word and she won't even give me some consideration or time, and yet she wouldn't even do her part.
I also deal with Facebook online sellers. I just paid for this leather wallet yesterday. Today, I got the item. She's the type of person who, when she said she will ship the items for tomorrow's delivery when you paid before her cut off time. Rain or shine, she makes it done unless the courier have own issues to deal with that is beyond her control.
I like online shopping because of the ease and convenience of buying stuff. But when you have to deal with sellers like that, it is more trouble than what the product is worth.
I hope you get your items today, too. The least you can do is to give other buyers out there fair warning in dealing with her.

If she is sick and really had a delay in ordering, she should have given more payment options. It's a little ridiculous she was not more flexible with you paying. After hearing that, I would have canceled my order with her. I hope you receive your items soon.

I actually did demand for a refund and that I'd want to cancel my orders because she can't ship them to me right away. But, she said she already forwarded the payment to her suppliers and 1 of the items was already with her, and just waiting for the rest so she could ship all together. Well, I don't know if that's even the truth, but I have nothing more to do but just wait for the items to arrive.
