transfer money from ATMs

Can we transfer money from ATM to other accounts. In ATM options i saw options transfer money. I never used tha option in ATM. Is it possible to transfer money other bank accounts.

I think it depends on which bank. My bank also have this facility to transfer money from one account to another as long as the other account is also under the same bank. You can check on your bank's website for further clarification.

That's right. It depends on the features made available by a bank to their clients. I am able to transfer money from my bank account to a few other bank accounts, but not all.

i am having SBI account. I want to know can we transfer money from SBI ATM to other SBI accounts. If it is possible what is the step by step procedure

I have done transfers using the 'Card to Card Transfer' facility. I haven't tried other options. The steps are:- (after entering the PIN) 1) Select 'Transfer' from the menu. 2) Select 'Card to Card Transfer' from the next menu. 3) Enter the Receiver's ATM card number and then select 'Yes' 4) Enter the Receiver's ATM card number again and select 'Yes' 5) Enter Amount to be transfered and select 'Yes' 6) The details will be shown and you will be asked to confirm. Recheck the ATM card number and amount. Then select 'Yes'. That's it. The money is transferred.

yes you can transfer money from atm machine. but not to a different bank for sure. for ex:- you can transfer your money your sbi atm to another sbi but cannot transfer to icici or any other bank. i guess its not possible. i haven't heard of that. have you?

Yes. You can transfer funds from your SBI account to another SBI account via ATM. Provided your card should be activated with that facility. Normally, the pre-activated ATM cards are not transfer-enabled. You have to request your Branch Manager to explicitily allow transfers on your card. I have previously transferred funds to another SBI ATM card from my card using the 'Transfer' facility in ATM machines. It was instant and there was no fees.
