A soothing dip in a public hot spring tub

When we went to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, one of the tourist destination was Poring Hot Springs, as there are public tubs for anyone to use. In the tub there are 2 faucets, one for the hot water from the spring, and the other one is cold or tap water. At first I find it a little gross to be using the same tub that other people used. But, come to think of it, swimming pools are just the same story, and we even use it with other people at the same time.
The great thing, however, was the soothing hot water that relaxes our tired feet and muscles.
Would you not mind dipping in a public tub for a soothing bath?

I think in some ways this would bother me. I haven't went swimming in a long time. And I guess I feel at least pools are treated with chemicals. Either way though organism tend to survive so many different types of environments.

I know, right.
However, before you use the tub, you should have the initiative to clean it first, before filling it again with water. And, oh, you need to drain it, and not use the same water used by the one before you. That would be gross!

Yeah it is a good thing to clean the tub before you use it. It's nice that they have cleaning solutions there for you to clean it with. That way you know yourself that it is clean. And it would be considerate to make sure to clean it afterward.

No, there aren't any cleaning solution. But, you can let water flow and drain and at the same time take out floating dirt while draining water out.
Most users would just leave their half filled used tubs when they're done, so it's the next person's task to clean it before using, unless they don't mind using the same water.

I like the sound of Poring Hot Springs. It sounds similar to a jacuzzi or swimming pool where many people go. I wouldn't mind dipping in a public tub with hot and cold water. One of my favorite memories is being on Hot Water Beach in New Zealand. I dug a hole and mixed hot and cold water to make the ideal temperature. I found it really amazing and ever so relaxing. I love hot water to relaxes my tired feet and soothes my aching muscles.

Wow, dig your own hole for a relaxing hot water dip -- that sounds cool.
Yes, hot water really does soothe any body and muscle ache. They say it even cures some illnesses.
