Worst trip ever

Hey everyone! Summer ended on June here, and sadly I didn't go on any vacation this year yet. Right now I am here with my siblings in our Hiding Quarter. It's a small place with no walls, just woods holding up a roof, something like a Gazebo. There is a curtain on one side so that the people on the road won't see who is inside the HQ. Right now it's drizzling and there is a strong south wind blowing here and it's freezing. We like staying here and but right now it's not the best time. My sister said she's officially sick. haha. It's extremely freezing right now for me. I'm not used to this cold weather. It reminds me of one of my worst trips ever. Here the story. So before, every New Years eve my family go with relatives somewhere and celebrate there. And one time my relatives planned to go to a mountain park somewhere on the mountains and watch the fireworks on the city. Last time we went to the Mountains for New Year some of our relatives rented a open place with a roof and they brought mats and everybody just slept there. So when we were going, we thought it was going to be a good time. But what we didn't know was this: each relatives family rented a room, not a big open place for everybody. We also expected that everybody will be at one place and enjoy there but it was raining and there was a extremely cold wind so everybody just stayed in their rooms. So my family found a small roof and stayed under there waiting for the rain to stop. We were freezing and wet and there was nobody else there except us. We thought that everybody will come down later and celebrate New Year but they didn't. Another family that we knew (they had no room also) came to us and suggested to transfer somewhere else. But we didn't really like. Some of our cousins came down and talked to us for awhile but they went back in their rooms for dinner. The worse part is we didn't have dinner! We thought that there was going to be dinner for everyone. My Aunt came down at about 10pm and gave us dinner and we were starving. We were staying there for hours waiting for our relatives to come down. We were getting so sick there. The situation finally improved when we discovered another place to stay. It was bigger and warmer there and we wouldn't get wet so we all transferred there. We couldn't go home because our car's headlights didn't work so we had to go at the morning, which meant that we had to stay there the whole night. So we had to find something to do the whole night. Dad, mom and the parents of the other family all slept somewhere on mats. Meanwhile us, the kids had to do something because there was no place to sleep. It was a good thing that the other family brought a deck of cards. So we played so many card games and did some tricks. It was a long night and we played cards, played tag, told some of our stories of our life. And we became friends with them. As the night went on my sister slept and so did the sister of the other people. Finally the sun came up and we explored the mountain park. When we finally got back to our place we found our parents waiting for us. It was time to go home. I don't know when the other family went home but us we went home right away. I slept on the car. haha. So the first part of the trip was terrible but it got a little better when we started playing with the other family. It was fun, but it was still freezing cold and it was hard to move (that's why we played tag). But if somebody asked me if it was a good trip or bad trip I would say bad. So that was my bad experience. What are your thoughts on my bad trip?

I would say bad trip as well because you actually had to suffer the rain and cold. And also that you had not enough space to sleep. It was very lucky to finds cards other wise is it have been worse. I have never been on trips like this with families. I wish we had something like this. But we are all scattered all over the world. have a good day. Oh by the way you are a very good writer, I was engrossed in your short story.

Haha. If they didn't have cards I think we would have just played other games. But the cards helped because we know a lot of card games. Sad to hear that you don't go on trips like this. Do you ever go on any trips? Oh and thanks for saying i'm a good writer. :D

Oh. That's sad to hear. Maybe you will try going on trips like this in the future. They're really fun but sometimes they can get bad. Have a good day too!

Your trip turned out miserable due to the bad weather. It was lovely you had the company of your family members. It was superb that you played some card games. It was wonderful that you could explore the mountain park the next day. My daughter took travel sickness pills yet she still suffered travel sickness all the day down to our vacation spot. Coming back home I gave her a sick bag and she used it even more. I took the wrong way twice coming back home due to poor road signage. The motorway or freeway was ever so busy so it came to a stand still and then moved very slowly. My worst flight was London to Sfax via Tunis. There was much air turbulence and it made me sick and ill. I got severe ear pain too.

Haha. So those are your bad trips? I never experienced getting lost on the road or the person driving did not find where we was going. But my brother and sister had that problem. It's a funny problem because they were telling the taxi driver to take them to Gemsville. But here in the Philippines Gems and James are pronounced the same. So the driver took them to Jamesville. They said they had a very hard time trying to tell him to go to Gemsville but finally somebody helped them and told the taxi where to go. I only rode an airplane four times and the worst time was the first. Before we landed it was extremely dizzy. The airplane would suddenly drop down and it would feel like my brain was still up where it used to be and not down where I was already. I wanted to vomit after that plane ride but I didn't. And because it was my first plane ride i thought that all plane rides were going to be like that (but they aren't).

It sounds like a bad trip indeed! Instead of having fun and spend some creative time with family, you had all those difficulties to overcome and you weren't able to feel comfortable at that place. Fortunately, you found a nice way to spend your time and you forgot about the cold and the wind for a while!

Haha. We really forgot about our troubles when we were playing with our new friends. What's also amazing is that I didn't get sick! I got wet on the rain, it was freezing cold and I stayed up all night! Have you ever had a bad trip one time?
