I would love to own an authentic LV bag, but I don't think I can ever bring myself to buy one even if I have the money. I tend to change my mind about the look that I want on a daily basis so that's gonna be a whole lotta LVs lol! Nah, I don't think I'll be willing to buy one. Now if someone will give me this as a gift well, I will accept it wholeheartedly. :)

I can't afford that much just for a purse. It would have to be something more usable.
but...forget about the money.. .my daughter likes COACH bags. She was paying $200 for one purse! I thought I'd die the first time she told me! Then just recently she was at the COACH store, and the bags were 50% off..and with a coupon (she learned couponing from me!!!) she had another 30% off so the bag she bought for her and one for her daughter (who is 12 yo!)...$80 bucks a piece and that was with the 80% off coupons! I could have bought 3-4 for just the one $80! And then they showed me their bags, and I was nice about it since they both were just giddy with pleasure about not just having a COACH bag, but at such a CHEAP price, ao told them how nice they were and all that. But honestly...I didn't think they were that great! I mean I have seen some for around $30ish that I would have chosen over both of their bags! So I guess as they say...to each her own. I don't think I would have paid more that $20 for either of those bags from appearances only. They were both large bags with all the COACH emblems etc on them..but I didn't think they were cute, awesome, or any other positive description. To me they were just a purse with nothing special.
So I think the high prices are just for name only. Construction..yeah they are good and hold up, but so do the ones I buy at Payless or Target or Kohls! Plus...for that price and if they do hold up that good...you'd have htem for years and I get tired of a purse after about a year or 2 and want a new one!
I have yet to have a purse "fall apart" or tear or any other damage...I just get tired of them.
I just don't see the point in spending that much....unless the name brand is what you like and want to brag about and all!

I think everyone knows in what luxury should he/she spend the extra money. I live frugally, yet I save all my online earnings and make use of the timeshare (for which I have to pay every year) in order to have vacations in 5 star resorts. But most of my clothes are maybe 20 years old. Good clothes, bot nonetheless, old. I buy frech perfums at duty free shops: I will nit wear just anything. But for me, a bag is not worth it as I am always placing them on the floor. My dreams now have to do with a list of places to go next year, if I can make it.

My friend buys a LV bag every year, they look amazing but I wouldn't spend all that money for one bag! She is saving money every month for the whole year and the she spends them on a bag. I can't critisize that, the bags are super! I wouldn't do that myself, I think it's a waste of money. I would prefer to pick a destination and go for a wonderful trip abroad with that money.
Generally, I buy cheaper bags and I carry them every day, I think I would be obsessed if I was carrying a $1000 bag! I would constantly try to keep it clean, don't put too many stuff inside and be careful where I put it. I guess that if I was financially at a level where I could buy a LV without thinking about the money, I would definitely get one!

Just few weeks ago i was looking at LV bags, I think it is money wasted. some are so damn expensive. If one has lot of money waste, then they must be buying it. lol But I seriously can't afford it and even I buy now, My money will be wasted since I can't afford to waste money at the moment. happy shopping.
