Together to do housework

We have no house-maid. We have two sons. Since they were kids, we sducated them to do household work. Whatever it is. They must divide their time for himself and family. Through adolescence, they divided his time for school, play and help at home. Now they're college while working. But they still help around the house. Sometimes, if they come home with tired, we allow them to rest.

It's a good thing that you taught them to clean up after themselves. It doesn't sound like you need a maid anyway. I suppose your house isn't that big either.

Yes, our house is only 150 m3. But the education of children may have very wide, wider than our house.

Good for you to train your kids in doing household chores. Like us, me and my sister were really taught by our parents to participate in doing household chores. When we are already old enough to do such things like cooking, washing the clothes and cleaning the house, we are the one doing it already. My mom and dad will not have to work when they got home from work when we are still living with them. Now that I am already a parent, father for specific, I want to teach my son to do some household chores. This will give them a better impact when they grow up. but now, We already taught my 2 year old son to clean up his toys after playing. Where he will put his shoes, dirty clothes as well as throwing his tash in the garbage bin. Simple but very proud that my son knows all of this.

Glad to hear your 2 year old son was able to do all that. Little exercise early, very big influence. Thank you for sharing.

I think that it is very important that you teach your children to be able to help around the house, as you should make sure that they would be able to run their own home when they have to. My parents taught me well and this meant that when I moved into my own house I was able to do everything that I needed to. My brother on the other hand is not able to do this and this means that he is not able to help around the house and will certainly not be able to cope when he needs to live on his own, which will happen quite soon as he is hoping to go to University soon.

Well, you're better prepared. However, your brother should immediately catch up, to be able to live independently in the future. These skills are needed with or without a maid.

That is nice you sometimes allow them to rest if they are tired and still come around to help. I wish my parents would have installed some of this into my brother when we were young. Now he is still dependant on my folks to clean up for him here, such as housework. He only does what he likes to do, such as the lawn and the gardens in the warmer months. My brother allows himself to rest after work and just sits in front of the TV for a few hours, does his garden stuff if needed, sleeps for an hour maybe and puts the TV on again for a few hours. Such a hard life he leads, LOL.

Thank for sharing, NailTech. I think there is nothing wrong if he choose not to marry.

Well i salute your thought of making your children aware about the household chores. One has to be equally proficient in education as well as in the household works. We cannot always rely on maids or servants to get our things hand. When we are blessed with two hands and legs why not make the best use out of it. What say?

Yes, you are correct. Not functioning throughout the body and mind, the same as not appreciate the grace of God.

Thank you Riyauro. Thank you for sharing. I hope my children can survive and fight in this life, not spoiled and not depend on others.
