Why did they stop airing Bleach anime?

I was wondering why they've stopped showing bleach at episode 366... Does it mean that they're gone for good even though the manga is still ongoing... Why didn't they fill it up with filler episodes... Isn't Bleach one of the top animes in japan?

Hello and welcome to mylot :). Bleach was cancelled, although it could be temporary, since it almost got to the story point of the manga and they didn't want to fill it up with more fillers since those were hurting ratings a lot. For now, the time slot that bleach used to occupy is used to run a series from rock lee (a character from naruto) which means bleach is over. If they continue the series, it will be after a while.

So that's what they've changed for bleach time slot... Oh well guess we'll just have to wait for the new season for bleach... Anyhows I'll try to check that Rock Lee Series...

It's called "bleach cancelled Naruto SD: Rock Lee no Seichun Full-Power Ninden" :D. I dunno if its any good since I usually wait until series are finished or have enough episodes for me to waste my day on, and it only has 3 episodes out for now. If you like it tell me so I can add it to me watch list for next month :D.
