What are your dreams like? Do you usually dream in 1st person or 3rd person?

Okay, since I started this, I'll go first.
I've been curious if other people experience the same thing I do. So here I am wanting to know more about how others dream.
In my dreams, I switch to 1st person and 3rd person frequently. Almost every dream, I experience this. And I switch characters a lot. One time I'm myself in first person, then in another dream 'arc' I become someone else in 1st person, then become 3rd person seeing my previous 1st person self interact with another character. If I watch a certain other character too closely, I become that character in 1st person view. My personality changes a lot in dreams too, but i guess we all experience that so no surprise there.
Lucid dreams, I don't experience often. What about you, guys?

I haven't experienced lucid dreaming yet, and i doubt i will. Most of my dreams i have been an active participant in it, so it is mostly in 1st person. Even if i'm not talking, i make eye contact with the characters in my dream. I never had a dream where it was a 3rd person type of dream where i was only watching from the sidelines and no one sees me. I always have some sort of activity in the dreams. Have you tried interpreting your dreams at www.dreammoods.com? Very enlightening. I didn't know that dreams hold that much insight into our lives, even predictive insight.

My boyfriend claims he has been having a lot of lucid dreams lately. But to me, it doesn't usually occur. I think it is possible for everyone to have lucid dreams. Lucid dreams, I believe, can be done by people who are gaining more control in their life such as my boyfriend is living on his own now.

I dream about myself mostly, and not in third person though. If I have a good night sleep, I usually dream a lot, and I would sleep peacefully. I don't have any crazy dream or scary dream though, I would dream about something in the past, or something related to my daily work, or around me most of the time. So, I guess your dream trying to tell you something.

I think our mind is conjuring images in our dreams to tell us something, all of us. We just can't interpret it accurately. That's why dreams are interesting to explore, isn't it?
Maybe I watch too many movies so I'm used to watching everything happening in third person, though i usually dream in first person. I'm not the same person all the time though. It's like I'm role playing different characters, and these characters have different personalities, like one of those characters was a flirty lady and the other one was a childish, cunning liar. very different personalities.

I had a weird one the other night.
I was personal assistant to the mayor. The mayor was Sigourney Weaver and her clothes kept changing . She was very uncoordinated and kept falling over things.
For the life of me I cannot figure out what it means but it was in the first person. LOL.

I'm usually myself when I'm dreaming except for once maybe. But my character was just the same. There wasn't much difference really. Most people I see in my dreams I know in real life. I think it's the places that are so wild and new in my dreams. I once had a dream of a pink world with pink trees and a pink river. Then a war started and people were dying and I awoke crying. I think it's pretty weird how dreams can affect you in real life like when you wake up crying of laughing.

That place you are dreaming remind me of okama island from one piece XD
Yeah, same here, i also dream of apocalytic things happening. One time i dreamt that people are turning into zombies and everyone has to be vigilant or else they get eaten by the zombies. I was riding a jeep with many other people when suddenly a horde of zombies attacked us, lucky i got away.

I always dream I travel somewhere place I don't know, when I wake up I see on tv and sometimes been to that place, I guess I dream that place before, and sometimes I dream of people especially my grandfather who passed away since 2007, I always dreamed talking to him eventually I wake up after that, and one time I also dream of shooting people and he shoot me too, and a few times I dream of ghosts want to take away my life.

I also dream of places but they are modified versions of actual places in reality. The weird thing is, I seem to dream about these places more than once. The theme is somehow more modern and dark.

My dreams always seem so strange to me. i always seem to be in search of something or being chased by someone. It is never uneventful. i don;t remember ever dreaming in third person so i would have to say i have all of these technicilor dreams in first person. Often i can remember the dream if I wake up on my own instead of being awakened by another person. As for personality, i am so much more brave and heroic and forceful in my dreams than i am in real life. @rafiholmes (2896)

Well most of the dreams are like real life incidents. Either i am inside the classroom or in a mall or somewhere inside a market and see myself engrossed with some person or the other. Every time i get up right after the sleep the dreams fade away.

my dream is simple on surface but difficulty actualy. i just want a comfortable and happy life. i hope everybody in my family is healthy and far away from illness, happy without any troubles, safe and well without any accident. in a word all things are like they wish in their heart.

Yes my dream is not to be first or other my dream is.,in my life everything wil be well and good and all friends and relativs will take me as those ownrelation and life will gos very happy and joy fully .

I dream in first person. I am always in the dream or watching the dream. I have some lucid dreams. I know that I am dreaming. Sometimes, there is an announcer that I hear but don't see. He tells me the meaning of the dream as I am dreaming it.
