Some people are very stable on their opinion but if they are wrong, they admit it and they move on! On the other hand, others can never admit that they weren't right about their opinion and even if they make a mistake, they never accept it and continue to support the same opinion.
I am usually veru flexible and I admit my mistakes, but there is one case that I couldn't back up and I kept supporting my opinion, even if the chances show that I'm going to loose! I was with my boyfriend and we were making fun of my driving because I am a new driver! At some point, he questioned my ability to start my brother's car which is very difficult to drive! So we started a bet that I'm probably going to loose. 
He is a very experienced driver and I'm new to this, but now it's too late to take it back and I will try to win until the last moment!

I think we all do from time to time. Even if we know we are probably wrong, or not enough Facts to base our belief and knowledge on there are people out there who are always Right even when they are wrong. I know there have been times I have insisted I am right just to feel better, and then there were times I have been unsure.
But in your case, this might be a hard task for you unless you are sure you can do it. Hopefully if you loose it will not be too painful, and a lesson learned as well.

Thanks for the support! It will mostly be fun, I want to win but if my boyfriend is right at the end, I have a back up plan, haha! I will convince him to spend the bet money together! :PP
Just kidding! I'll definitely learn my lesson and don't start bets if I am not sure I'm going to win!

besweet, you have to believe in yourself and when you do
you will feel more positive...
Now you are going to try to start/drive your brothers
car..Just know within your self that there is nothing
we can't do...You can do it...
just a little advise always see that glass half full
instead of half empty and BELIEVE BELIEVE BELIEVE,
please keep us/me posted...I know you can do it. and
see how willingly he smiles and say "damn you did it"..

In your case, yes,it's fine to insist.
You can try your best.
Anyway, you already know how to drive so driving other vehicle is not that hard anymore- unless it's truck or a bus which I guess is a bit hard to bet since those vehicles are big and it needs a good driving skill to move those big wheels.

The bet came from the impulse of the moment! It was between me and my boyfriend so I didn't think about it so much. Then I talked with my brother who made me think better and I realised that I shouldn't have started that bet! :P
Even if I loose, I will definitely have fun though :)

Yes, that is true! But I have a bet and if I accept it, it means that I am going to loose it without trying! It's going to be hard to win, but I will do my best. When I started the bet, I was certain that I'm going to win but then I talked with my brother and he told me I should be prepared to loose! I don't have the technique and experience that it needs..

I think u r probably gonna win it :p just believe in uaslf. I know how u must be feeling ryte now, i am like if someone challanges me or makes fun of me i ll try to do anything to prove em wrong to show em what i hav got but at the same time I try to be carefful about things that can hurt me. Dnt worry about the bet, no matter who wins or looses, u bth ll be laughing abt it at some point in future so jus chill n best of luck n be CAREFUL
