I wonder if the dog will get independent some day

Our puppy is very obsessive. I wonder if it will get little more independent with the age. When we walk outside it feels good meeting other dogs, even if we call his name at that time he doesn't pay any attention of us. But this is the one moment when we are getting little private time of it.
Wherever we are it is around us. Sleeping with us on the bed, which is o.k., when someone is moving and it still sleep, he wakes up and follow the one of us who always go somewhere.
It's getting little annoying. I was trying to teach him play with his toys alone, it was working for a bit, but he is still next to me nearly 90% of the time.

I don't think he will become much more independent with the age. Maybe he will get used with any of you going somewhere in the middle of the night and he won't follow you like now but he will still be somehow... connected to you.
Dogs are pack animals and they usually walk together when they have to move. You shouldn't worry about this.

I can't really allow my puppy to sleep on my bed. No that can't be allowed at home. Our doggies do not enter our house actually. They do have their own dog house and that is where they eat and rest. They are however free to roam around the yard at anytime but never do they even enter out home because they have been trained not to do that.

Aaah so sweet, is this your dog on the picture below your comment?
We live in a flat. Sometimes I wish we had a garden to walk him, because right now our elevator doesn't work and if we want to go out, we go down and up 5 floors just for one half hour walk.
