Yup! Absolutely! It's a girl thing. I'm always suffering from this pain and always wondering what should be the best solution for this. I sometimes take pain reliever to eliminate the pain. Is it true that pain reliever is not good for health? Is there any ways to minimize the pain?

Taking medications occasionally for your pain is not really detrimental to your health depending on how often you take it during the menstrual cramps. It is advised that you should take pain relievers 2 days before your period and after meals because of its side effect causing ulcers if taken without food. Warm compress works for me, it relaxes the muscles, rest and mild exercise when you are able, try different positions, wear comfortable clothing.

Hi Axai2012 Thanks for your information. I only take medicine when I'm at work but thanks for the advice, I will bare that in mind. If warm compress works for you then I will try that too. I'll try to have mild exercise too. Thanks and have a great day..^_^

Hi!I'm a newbie here...:)))...well I have this friend of mine who is suffering from that same thing...What i could advice is sleep early, cause that might be one of the reasons why you are suffering from such thing. second, eat lots of fruits and vegetables. There are people who suffer menstrual cramp because they eat too much unhealthy food. Oh, try this one, fill a bottle with 1/2 hot water and just plain water..(depending on your preferences or temperature that you can tolerate)...close the bottle tightly then put it to the spot where it hurts (not too close)...

Hi ShikiLuli, Thanks for your advice. It's good thing you've mentioned about eating unhealthy foods. I admit sometimes I eat junk foods or unhealthy foods. Perhaps I should check my diet and eat lots of fruits and vegetables. That's great... Thanks and have a great day... Enjoy using mylot..

i get to experience that too but i never have tolerated myself from taking medicine as pain reliever. i only take it when it's too painful that i can barely stand it for long, especially when i'm at work. but if i stay only at home, i lie in a fetal position or i put a bottle with hot water in it on my tummy. that way, i get to sleep and the pain somehow alleviates.

Hello mylzcantor08 That's good advice. Thank you. I'll try that at home instead of taking medicines. This is really helpful. Thank you and have a great day.
