Have you ever had problems with your system memory in windows and never know how to solve such issues. If you had what would you do. You do use tools like system cleaning and disk defragmetation, system error checkup, check your system virus problems by using anti-virus program. But you never check your RAM. Yes RAM, that is used during when you use your system daily, and which also can get corrupt when your system is improperly shut down. Some systems on improper shutdown will produce a continues beep sound that sound very im-pleasant but that shows that your system has some problem. So what shall we do. We have a tool for this in windows, but that is not available directly when you are using your windows, but while you are about to load your windows into the RAM. So this tool can only be used when your RAM is about to be loaded into the memory. (For those who using linux this tool is directly available in your installation CD, see for memory diagnostics in either recovery mode, or while you install or just in main menu of installation list ) So how do we use this tool if it is used before windows copy is loaded from your HDD to your RAM. For this after your POST BIOS checkup for system details and is about to load windows (means in some system you see BIOS graphics that your manufacture provide.) press DEL (delete) button repeatedly. You will see a black window with your OS loading options maybe windows xp, windows vista, windows 7 or any other. Use TAB to change to windows memory diagnostic and press enter. Now you will enter a windows memory diagnostic wizard (a blue text mode interface), at bottom you see how to proceed.Press F1 to start diagnostic or press ESC (escape) to quit. This will help scan for error in Windows booting process also checks RAM for errors.

I would like to give you a big thanks for sharing this useful information. Actually, once, a beep sound had been produced in my system and it was continuously sounding but did not display anything on the screen. One of my friend told me to let out the RAM, clean it and let in again. And fortunately it done. But i like your advice and definitely remember.
