I am one of those unfortunate 67 crore people who have been worst affected by the power grid failure in India. But fortunately the crisis is over. So I have been able now to work on my computer. But due to this unexpected power grid failure, I am very much late in logging in mylot. I hope the concerned authority would take necessary steps so that this might be the first and last power grid failure in India.

We would definitely be happy if such massive power cuts never happen again in the future. But everything depends on the concerned authority who are supposed to take care of it.

happy to note that the power cut has been attended to. I do not think we will have such power cuts again on a massive scale like this.

thanks for your response. Your area is not affected. good. Vidhyaprakash told he was not aware of power failure and that means Tamil Nadu has not been affected by it. I wish other areas get power quickly.

Hi Ravi,
Because, we got a mail from the company itself by using certain technical terms and initially I didn't understood what they are talkinga about and from the enquiry I come to know that it was the same what you were mentioned here. Any way, there are chances for slow-down the process at any point of time as everything is inter-linked and any thing happening around the world may get affect all, some way or other.
Best regards.

Yes it is true. There is some problem in Agra power grid and it affected mainly the northern region of the country.
I am from Himachal Pradesh and the light comes here in the night time and goes somewhere in the day time. At some places it is worse.
I think you are from South India and there is no affect of this.

yes. I understand the accident was near Nellore --just 150 km from chennai. many people suffered and that means many families suffer. I think the power situation is improving. Doctordidi says that power has been restored.

vidhya:
North India has been affected largely by this power grid failure. 67 crore people are not having electricity. I think by now some area would have got power. Jharkand, Bihar, UP -- mines in these states are also affected. people are help up in mines.
About 22 states and UTs have been impacted by the failure of 3 power grids.

In northen parts of india only affected by it. The people lives on the city will never forgot the day wihout power. I think it is also good because it is a caution to us to take alternative steps regarding those situations. If we take the necessary steps in future we won't affect so much. Every demerits have some benifits.

yes. we can learn from every experience. This would have put the government on caution. Power minister has been made home minister --i think not due to this.

Hello,
I have been following this news on television and come back here to respond. Truly the situation is very bad. I am in Central Kolkata now and there is no problem with power here but the entire country is affected including parts of my city too. I had calls from relatives who live in the Saltlake area. They are worried thinking the water supply may be affected too. My parents have asked them to come in and stay in my place if such a problem crops up. I really hope there is a speedy solution to this huge problem that has happened today.
