I read an article the other day that just blew my mind.... It said that the people of North Korea were prohibited from making international calls or using the Internet. Some weathier people may have had access, however, most contact with the outside world was made using illegal device that were smuggled into the country from China. What is going on in that country that they don't want the rest of the world to know. Is it thier fear of sociatal changes?

Well, to be honest, I who read the news online every day, and also look at the news, I have absolutely no heard of such a fact. I still, giving you complete confidence, I really believe in what you said. However not know why I even explain. Perhaps it could derive from the fact (as you say) that these people, to call or connect to the web, used illegal devices.

The New York Times calls it "The Black Hole". There are many articles available online.

I saw a documentary about North Korea. It was made in a secret way by the people doing what was agreed which was eye surgery. The eye surgery gave the sight back to hundreds of blind people. I was shocked that North Korean people stay in that country and are not allowed contact with people from other countries. One man escaped to South Korea but his traveling companion got killed on the electric fence. His family I think got tortured due to him escaping. It is awful that international phone calls and the Internet are not allowed. Some rich people have got access to the Internet due to stuff smuggled from China so that is lovely for those people however if they get caught they are sure to be in a lot of trouble. They want only their home country and its leader to be thought of in a positive light. They have a village near China the looks lovely but the rest of North Korea is poor and the people are treated badly by the government.

North Korea is held in thrall by an evil man, or evil men if you consider the people who work for him. Their human rights violations are shocking, and the way they treat their own people is horrifying. No wonder South Korea got mad when someone accidentally put up the North Korean flag at the Olympics. You don't want to be associated with them.
