it is not something easy to see or find out. and it is not easy to control because those involved in hazing have the tendency to do violent things. and so the school administrators may avoid getting involved with those people as they don't want their lives to be harmed. and they don't have police protection anyway. so i think that the best way is for the students themselves not to join those group or fraternities.

In my university, fraternities are not allowed so if the students want to join frats, they only join frats outside and not related to the school. In my school, we only have a lot of interest or hobbies-oriented organizations.

Well I think as long as it is all done in fun. I can remember being a sophmore in high school and at our first assembly we learned all about the school. Where the lockers were; where to eat our lunches; the cheer leaders would go through their routines and get us to yell and show our true school spirit. They also told us about the elevators that we could take to get to the sixth floor and the swimming pool that you could find around back. They told us all kinds of stories and of course we being young and naive we believed them or at least I did. I swear I must have spent an hour looking for that so called elevator and the school didn't even have a sixth floor and the swimming pool that was all made up too -- it was done though all for fun. When I went to girl state that's where I spent a week at a college learning how to be a State Senator -- there was some sugar in the bed; some pranks that were done -- but that too was done all in fun. The last day the two pranksters came forward and laughed as they said we're the ones who put sugar in the bed and seran wrap on the toilets -- but we all laughed it was all done for fun. No spoiled sports. Now with hazing that could be done for fun too -- and I'm not sure why the schools allow the bully's to beat members up -- and to have them do things that could harm them. It's like it is sadistic -- they could focus on more pranks than anything else. Just my two cents worth.
