Smileys on discussions and comments

I am really curious on how do you put smileys on comments and discussions? I don't know how. I'm new here. Can somebody tell me how to dot it? THANKS.

They are under 'myLot code' next to the box you are typing your post. But you can only use them once your User Activity Rating reaches 200. You have about 180 more to go; and in the mean time, you can only use the bold, italic, and underline codes. Welcome to myLot!

Once you reach a rating of like (200) then you will have access to use these if you wish. I seldom use them but I know others that do all the time.
