How do you play Cricket?

Currently England are number one team. Other main teams playing are Australia, India, south africa, newzeland, pakisthan,srilanka , bangladesh. First thing youhave to know about cricket is it is a slow Paced game( Not slow as Chess) than th other games. Let me describe a cricket field. A field is a circle with approximately 90 yaard radius (size may vary depend on the availability of ground). In the middle of the field we have a 22*2 yard place called pitch where the actuall action happens.At the each end 3 stumps will be placed Each team has 11 players. By using Toss teams will select either batting first or bowling first. From the batting team 2 players will come with bats to field and stays on two sides of the pitch. From the other team one bowler will come. and he bowls(thows) in a perticular style(hands above the head). The guy with bat in the other end hits the ball. If the ball cross the boundary line(end of the fields) in air then it is given as 6 runs. If the ball reaches the line by touching the ground then it is declared as 4 runs. Also batsman score runs by running across the pitch. If a batsman hits the ball and it doesnt reach the boundary line and stays inside then batsman can run. Make sure that the batsman reaches other end of the pitch before the ball raches. A fielders are the reaining members of the bowling team they are placed around the field to stop the ball from reaching the boundary line and throw it back. A batsman can get out by many ways. One thing if the ball hits the stumps. secondly fielder catches the ball before pitching on the ground and many ways. Each team will get specific number of overs to play. Each over has 6 balls means 6 times a bowlers has to bowl. The total number runs scored by team is the criteria to determine the winner. Once the specific number overs complete other team gets to bat and batting team will bowl and they has to score 1 run more than the what other team have scored. If they succeed second batting team will win.If they fail first batting team will win.

I don't play cricket in the first place,but I had played it years ago.I know the rules of the game and how it is played,but am not interested to play it.It would take me a long time to type the response describing all the rules.You may look for them on the internet.I have been a football and hockey lover since my childhood and have played football and hockey for years.Although I have played cricket as well,but I dislike it.

Hi olonam, I don't know the rules of or how to play cricket because I don't watch it. But I can tell you one thing that Australia and India are the best teams of cricket. A famous Indian cricketer is Sachin Tendulkar. hope i was of some help have a wonder day.
