So our little husky is housebroken. It only took a couple of weeks. She must be a smart dog or we're just great trainers . In any case, when we come home her "potty patch" is filled with her you-now-whats? How can we deter those odors until we come home to clean it?

That's great..So I take it she is trained to go on papers? Or are you trying to get rid of the smell from when she was being housebroken? If the latter, then this Woolite product removed the odors so well, not even the dog can smell it and why it is good for housebreaking a dog: anhttp://www.amazon.com/Woolite-Remover-Carpet-Cleaner-Oxygen-22oz/dp/B005SRUOP6 If this dog is trained to go in a certain area, then you will have to find an odor remover for only you and not the dog..Maybe that febreeze is like that, I don't know because my girls are trained to go outside..

Yeah, what happened is we trained her to go on what is called "the Potty Patch." We live in a community where we're not allowed to take the dogs outside. Just got a notice we can't even walk her inside our park. Go figure. Anyhow, so when we come home it's pretty smelly. Of course, we should clean out her "patch" daily but we got lazy. It's something we can take outside and water down though. But we were just wondering if we could put something on the "Potty Patch" to take care of the odors. It would be so simple if we could take her outside.

Wow, that is a hard one. I tried searching for an answer and of course all odor removers remove the odor so the dog doesn't go in that spot, and you don't need that. Did you know about this rule when you got the dog? I wonder if you can train your dog to go into a kitty littler box, because kitty litter absorbs odors, but only if the animal goes in the litter..

I was totally thinking of kitty litter. I'm gonna try it. The kitty litter stuff we can put in the second layer of the "patch" right underneath the fake grass. Very cool. Thanks for the re-affirming (I think that's the word).
