Working as a Server

I work as a server in a fairly upscale restaurant, and I actually like the work quite a bit. I'm normally a bit shy around strangers, but the job encourages you to put yourself out there a little. It keeps you busy, teaches you a lot of random skills, and in my case my co-workers are like a family. They're definitely the best part.
Have you ever worked as a waiter/server? If not, do you think you could?

I never worked as a service, however I have 2 sister that did and both seemed to really enjoy the work they did. I did work in customer service at a call center and I did enjoy doing that. Maybe in a way it's the same thing, both are assisting people you with the food orders and I with account holders.
