Moved to Our New Boarding House

After several hours of searching, we finally found a boarding house near our office. It is a two story house with two rooms just enough for the group. We decided to transfer immediately because we ca no longer stay on our old boarding house. After packing up our things, we finally moved in. I hope we will have a safe stay on this place with remaining 1 1/2 months of stay in this place as part of our training. Although the price is 3x higher than that of our old boarding house, we already settled on this one. What is important is our safety.

Safety is always be the first thing to be consider when moving in a new place. I think its fine if your new boarding house price is 3x higher than to your old boarding house at least now you place is near to your office and you can save money and time from travelling to your old one. Also better to live near to your working place because its more accessible and you can relax better.

Hi Bhe! Thank you for sharing your thought on this matter. We are also praying that we don't experience any incident like that of what happened to our old boarding house.

Are you moving to a new boarding house, because your old boarding houses are not safe? I was happy, you can move to a new boarding houses, which you think is safe, even if the price is very expensive. Hopefully, what you might expect, a new boarding place, could actually be achieved. And is completely safe, as you would expect.

Hopefully, bad things like that, not repeated in your new boarding houses. You must always be vigilant.

Hi indahfth! Yes we had a very bad experience in our old boarding house. We were robbed by an unidentified man early morning of Sunday last week. He took the money of my group mates and he threatened us that he will hurt us if we did not give our money. He was armed with a jungle knife.

lodging - Lodging (or a holiday accommodation) is a type of residential accommodation. People who travel and stay away from home for more than a day need lodging for sleep, rest, safety, shelter from cold temperatures or rain, storage of luggage and access to common household functions.
Lodgings may be self catering in which case no food is laid on but cooking facilities are available.
Lodging is done in a hotel, hostel or hostal, a private home (commercial, i.e. a bed and breakfast, a guest house, a vacation rental, or non-commercially, with members of hospitality services or in the home of friends), in a tent, caravan/camper (often on a campsite). In addition there are makeshift solutions.
Wow! 3x higher. Well, I guess it would be okay since the company would be paying for it! hehehe.. Yeah, I think safety is the biggest thing that's really important. Not to mention comfort because it's just close to your training office. Good luck and I do hope you'd have a great time there! Have a great Mylot experience ahead!

Actually, it is still cheap. We had a very cheap rent in our previous boarding house, $45 per month. But it is quite far from our office. So a $135 per month is still cheap because we are 5 in our group. Thank you for sharing your opinion laydee!

Sounds like you have found a dwelling that is more safe than the last. I am relieved that your group found a boarding house so soon. Once you are all settled, I hope you next few weeks there are peaceful and full of joy.

Glad to know you guys were able to move to a new house soon. And you're right, no amount of money can ever replace your lives and safety. What's the extra expense if it will somehow give you peace of mind and a safe place to live in. I hope there will be no more repeat of that incident. Evil doers nowadays are becoming more agressive, you can't be sure now of your safety even if you're at home, where one should be safe and secure.
