I have to go probably tomorrow to buy these prepaid internet cards. Supposeable most stores sell them. When I had called Virgin Mobile they told me to hook it up online as you save the $35 activation fee. But if I put it through on my credit card it would be $35 for 1gb of internet each month. Whereas if Im not working say less in the winter I want less internet so I could just go to the store and buy a $5 card. So I was told Shoppers Drug Mart, and Walmart sells the card so hopefully if I have time tomorrow Ill stop in and see if I can get a card.

In your situation it is really appropriate to have a prepaid card because if you are not using internet that much you could save much. Though I'm using postpaid because my wife and I are using internet a lot and my sister is using the wifi too so it's convenient for us to have the postpaid.

I'm just using the prepaid for while working and petsitting. My normal internet at home is different.

Before Angie was living with us, she was using the prepaid cards for her Virgin mobile, but she was buying the card that was unlimited access for an entire month. However, there is the option of buying smaller cards that cost less money, but they also had a limitation on how much access that you had to the internet. Though I wouldn't go that route if I was going to be using the Virgin Mobile connection all the time, I think that the smaller cards are a great option when you will only be using the satellite internet some of the time.

I love the prepaid debit cards, they are so convenient, and save lots of time. You can use them just like a credit card without all the fees. They look just like a credit card; your name is imprinted the same. They control your spending and provide you the convenience of shopping online as well as other credit card like transactions.

Maybe they suggested the net way because they are going to be discontinuing the cards since they are discontinuing that one stick. I'd call or go online and ask as if so you may want to stock up....

I am also using prepaid card for my broadband stick. But in our country, some service providers are offering promos so I can save much by enrolling in one. Say, I buy $2.50 load, I would enroll it in an unlisurf promo good for 2 days. There is also a post paid plan worth $22.50 and it's good for one month unlimited surfing. By the way for how many days are going to consume the $5.00 load?
