We look at them as gods. Days Olympics show athletes in all their splendor, in all their wishes unparalleled greatness that has made ??him the best, strongest, most agile, fastest on the planet.
The fact that everything they do on sports participants Olympics is incomparable grace, how to turn their hard work and effort to master the art we make ourselves, spectators, viewers can not really weigh their investment of courage and of work. It seems simple. It looks like it's play. And yet, none could be here if not as driven by ambition that goes with the desire and joy of childhood games, entertainment and floating lust adolescence.
Every medal, gold, silver or bronze are energies of life years and absolutely special people who were born to overcome their own limitations and to bring joy into the hearts of others. They are the gods of sport, who these days remind us that there is a land of fairness and fair play. They are the best of us, because otherwise it would go to such achievements.

We look at the athletes as gods and some of us wish we could look like them! If some of us worked out for a living to compete at the levels these athletes do, we would! In Michael Phelps case he was also blessed with a long torso, a wind span over 6 feet and double jointed feet!
The Olympics are the best of the best and I am always amazed watching the athletes perform! Always will!

The gods of sports are indeed those who manage to dedicate t6heir entire youth, make sacrifice and endure a lot of pain just for fulfilling their dream of winning a medal at the Olympic Games, the supreme competition in sports;and since the Olympics take place only once in four years, only a part of all those hard-working athletes reach the ultimate goal of winning an Olympic medal and thus achieving eternal glory, while others get nothing for their efforts and sacrifices. Those who succeed are indeed Gods of sport, while others have to wait for another 4 years to achieve that status,if they have the strength to continue. However, gods or not,all those compete in the Olympics deserve to be appreciated for pushing their limits and for offering us,the spectators,so many thrills and exciting moments in the biggest sporting event on Earth.

Olympics means years of hard work, means the maximum concentration, mean fighting spirit.
Olympic spirit is the pure essence of human living. In search of immortality, and a man ran up. Olympic laurels is the culmination of centuries of continuous running, the unstoppable ascent of the evolution of human society and continued willingness to improve.
If humanity, then people should emulate the Olympics.
If the Olympics, people must appear before others and gods beautiful, honest and winners.
You won, continues! Lost continues! In a way, all athletes participating in Olympic Games are winners, because even the qualification and participation in the ultimate competition is a goal in itself.
Thanks for response.

In a sense of word these people represent the best amongst us in different fields. Of course, Olympics is not big on mental sports. But on physical aspects these are the best we have got. So yes it is a fantastic event and one that I very much look forward to watching every 4 years.
Cheers!

Doing sports is a sign of ambition. Sport, like life, requires sacrifice, renunciation, but in the end, after much hard work, come and satisfaction. It's an exercise in discipline of the mind first, the understanding that only after hard work appear true joys.
I admire people who work wholeheartedly for their successes!
Thanks for response.

Yes, the way some of the athletes go about creating records and breaking records, makes them look like what we call as "Demi-Gods". Their performances enchant us people and let us forget some of our lives' struggles and problems for some time.

I have immense asmiration and respect for them. They practice practically for almost 2 years for at most 2-3 events, some of them not even lasting for 2-3 minutes... it seems so easy and quick, but they invest all their life in it, and that deserves admiration.
