Do miracle berries work?

Has anyone tried them out? My brother got them from Amazon and it said that it temporarily changes your tastebuds so that things that are typically sour or bitter becomes sweet. The tablets are coming this week and i'm hoping that they work. Any second opinions on this?

Never tried such things. But I would like test it out atleast once. Can anybody explain how does it work exactly and is there any side affects ?

Interesting. Is there any specific name for these berries? I would like to try them out too.
Based on your post, I think these berries have the same effect of pineapples. Pineapples, when eaten prior to meal, tends to give you an aftertaste of bitterness.
