I believe we should. We should at least be aware of the current issues and be vigilant enough towards whats happening out there, even if we can't participate actively. A basic understanding of how things go around in the world is very necessary. Its very important for us to have skills to analyze the options available and arrive at a conclusion cause we have handed our country's economy and governance in their hand. We can't simply ignore what they are doing just because they are out of our reach.

I agree with your comment, himsey! We shouldn't simply ignore what's going on around. As a student, we should at least be aware of what's going on around.

hi, i think we should know whats going on in politics, i know many youngsters hate politics, but still, whats the use of blaming our politicians when we are not doing our bit , and its our right to know each and every thing . If we dont know and we dont question , then nothing can be changed , and the situation still becomes worse, we cant even expect the future generation to be in a good political country.

Of course, I feel that much is obvious, as youth we are learning how to live in the world that exists now. The world is always changing and with that politics, we need to learn about ourselves, and what we believe in, and how that relates to others, and how much of a choice we have in things we deem important. Since politics has changed so frequently, and drastically, in just the past hundred years (world history and otherwise) and where we think it's going now, to optimize our freedom of choice. Though I feel it's most important to understand ourselves before we go around arguing our points.
