There is a Limit

There is a limit to what I can tolerate. I am not saying that I am going to be inappropriate, but I don't have to put up with everything/everybody. I can remember having a job in which I was disrespected and asked to do the wrong things. If there is anything I hate, it is someone power tripping when he or she does not even deserve their role. People prove themselves everyday. I am not one to have people get over on me if I can help it.

We all have limits to the amount of crap that we can take, and I think that it shouldn't be a lot. Nobody's got the right to make someone else's life miserable just because they're in a much higher position in the organization. Their position doesn't make them a better person than I am in all sense; it just so happened that they have an entirely different job description and salary than I do. I don't mean I am always like this to my superiors, but there are those people whom you will really question how on earth did they land their jobs given the way they treat some people just for fun.

This is definitely a response I can relate to. I have always wondered how some people got higher up with lower skills/experience. Then I think, it is all just a game. How you play it is up to you. But, a foul is a foul.

I understand your feelings as I have also been in your position before. People see things differently, and sometimes, they say/do things that are insensitive to others. For me, to make things easy going and everyone's lives happier, I would just go along with their suggestions/commands just to please them. If someone happens to disrespect you and try to use ways and means to degrade you even after you do so, then I believe that you should voice out to them and give them a tongue lashing to show them that you are no pushover! I agree with you, there is a limit to everyone's tolerance, and once things go too far, it's time to show them that you're no pushover! Hope I have helped you in some way or another, cheers! :)
