I've seen the article on yahoo news about the accidentally aired the water polo malfunction.

It was the fight of Spain vs. USA when an American water polo player grabbed the bathing suit of a Spanish opponent that leads into wardrobe malfunction by revealing her chest. For sure many people have witnessed it live on the air but good thing not personally since they are under water.
Now I am wondering how come water polo players are allowed to grab the suit of another player? Isn't that should be an offense too? Don't they have a rules just like in basketball which players are not allowed to pull the jersey of another player?
I think now they have to be particular on what should be the bathing suit of the players, it could be like in swimming that it is like body suit to avoid this matter. Also I think they should disqualify the players who are grabbing the bathing suit of their opponent as nowadays they can install cameras under water.
Good thing there was no fight after this malfunction happened. Like the Spanish got mad to this American player.

I saw the news. I think there's a rule for grabbing but as I see this, I can't say if the grabbing is accident or the player intended to do it. Still, Olympics committee review the matter. Let see what is the reason ans what's the final analysis. Have a great day to all.

Dude nice surname!
That is the reason why they have to change the suit now into body suit so to avoid the malfunction.

I watched part of this game, but apparently I didn't see this part of it (or maybe I did and just didn't notice it). While I don't know many of the exact rules of water polo, I do know that there is a lot more contact allowed in water polo than in, as you said, basketball. I think it's true that they can get away with a lot more because it's hard for the referees to always see what's going on underwater. When they sometimes show the underwater cameras it sure looks brutal.

Yeah unlike in basketball it can be seen obviously by their coaches or people who are watching of who is the player that is foul. If that is the case that they tolerate suit grabbing I think it is time for them to change it into body suit unless if players would tolerate themselves into the risk of malfunction.

hi metatronik but really what could they see as it would have been hard to tell anything as it would be warped by being an underwater picture.I think that grabbing an opponents suit should be an offense against the grabber's team I got a funny charge out of seeing the yellow circle hiding the the
