So I know that men wearing pink is becoming more common and "acceptable" compared to what it used to be. I've seen a lot of fashionable mens shirts in a pink color ( not necessarily bright pink just a shade of pink) and I think it looks really good on some guys. Do you see many men wearing pink where you come from? Do you have an opinion on it? Thanks for commenting.

in our place, a quote is now trending, stating " real men wear pink" and i would say "yeah right" . besides, color does not really measure how tough are you really and how sure you really are a man. but mind you, my guy would not really accept that fact. he would always say he could never imagine himself to be a guy in pink!

I agree that a simple color doesn't represent how tough you are as a man, unfortunately it does represent how other people will evaulate your masculinity though. Thanks for commenting.

I will be honest with you, I wish that I didn't care about what others thought of me but I really do. It bothers me to think that anyone is thinking the slightest negative thing about me, if I could change one thing about myself it would be to not care about what others think of me. I find that this holds me back in life and it doesn't seem fair, I just wish I knew how to turn that "switch" off...

hahaha to that :) i really don't understand why people mind other people's judgement. that's how my guy thinks also. well i think why not try to get along first with that guy in pink before giving any comments with just that piece of cloth colored in pink. and if they really just judge it without scrutinizing, then go judge! after all that judgement would not hurt me if i don't give the consent( that's only my point of view anyway) :)

I think men (real straight men) wearing pink shows more of their confidence in their sexuality. They don't get scared of what people will think of them when they're seen in pink wardrobe. It also shows their soft side. I really think men look cute in pink. But, my husband, is the dark-color type of guy, actually, its just either blue or black. It's not just pink he doesn't want to wear, but even red, orange, yellow, green, etc.

My other half is open to every other color but pink, he would never even consider it. Sadly we live in a small area where everyone would whisper if he walked around with a pink shirt on, so I don't think he feels like being the product of a gossiper.

Very true. There are lots of "girly" colors that I choose not to wear simply because I don't think that it appears flattering on me.

He is allergic to pink. Don't worry, there are a lot of guys who think that way. It doesn't necessarily mean they are not confident with their sexuality. They just prefer not to wear such color. It's their right.

When I was in my college years, men wearing pink clothes started. This makes me urge to wear that color too. Before wearing pink makes you look feminine but now, it is not. According to one of my colleagues, she read that pink color represents masculinity in men. This means that you must not be afraid of wearing pink clothes if you are male. Also, when this fashion statement started, I saw a good quotation in one of men wearing pink. It says, "Only tough men are not afraid to wear pink" which is really true. Only tough men have the courage to shift their fashion of wearing feminine colored-dress.

You're right, it takes a man with a lot of confidence to wear pink. It shows that he doesn't really care if he's judged based on wearing what most see as a female color.

There are also other feminine color that can already wear by men. However, there are still men that are not open in wearing such colors and they think it will make you feminine in the eye of other. In my opinion, there are people that don't have enough courage of wearing such colors. They are just envious about us who can wear feminine colors without any hesitation.

Of course they are envious, as they only wish they had such confidence to pull something like that off.

I've seen men wear pink before but I don't see it all the time. But it does look good on some, not all though. It's amazing how time have changed and it's OK to wear pink now. Not that there was anything wrong with it

Yes I don't believe you would've see men in the 70's 80's or 90's wearing pink, someone correct me if I'm wrong though as I've only been around since 1985.

Yes, I see men wearing pink where I am from. I think it's nice on others not all. It's true since the 20th century, men started wearing pink and their counterpart, us, started wearing light blue.

Just like every other color, it's better suited for some than others. Thanks for commenting.
