From the last 6 months since I gave birth to my baby, I can only count the days where I had slept without any interruption in between. In the first 3-4 months, my baby wakes up in the middle of the night to ask for milk. In his 3rd and 4th month, he actually started to sleep longer. But after a month, he started teething and maybe that's the reason why he wakes up and cried again in the middle of the night. Not only once, but almost every hour!
The other night, since my system is already used to waking up at midnight, I woke up to check on him but I was surprised that Kyle is sleeping soundly. It makes me happy to see him to get the rest that he needs. He woke up early at 5am though... But that's alright, because he woke with a smile on his face and not a cry.
This morning, he did the same. He had slept straight during the night. I hope this will continue so he could have enought rest he needs so he won't be fussy during the day.
And so I can also get enough sleep. Being a working mom, it's sometimes difficult to work in the office with a sleepy head. I am really happy that he finally is having a restful sleep.

That is normal babies sleeping routines are always changing. My daughter never slept through the night till she was over a year and now has almost all of her teeth but 4. Teething kind of messes with that. It's always nice getting that 6 or more hours of sleep. I"m not looking forward to the 3am wake ups for feeding again but it has to be done since I have another baby coming here really soon. I try to get as much sleep as much as possible.

Take care of yourself! I know how exciting it's gonna be!
My eldest is still 1 when I got pregnant with my 2nd. And there were times when he also asks for milk in the middle of the night, but not always. SO I still managed to sleep well. But in the later part of pregnancy, it's not him who made me not to sleep but my big tummy. There are positions where I find it difficult to breath. SO I need to change positions everytime. :)
Congratulations on your coming baby!

My daughter drinks out of a sippy cup so I don't have to get up in the middle of the night for a feeds anymore. She wakes up she drinks it and goes right back to bed with out waking me up. She also has a routine so that helps with sleeping and stuff.

Hi Bhaby!
My baby is now 6 months. His elder brother has passed through the normal stage. At 3 months he already sleeps very well. That's why I find it strange for the youngest to still be fussy at night because he is already 6months and 2 weeks to be exact. But I know babies really do not have the same development. I also associated it with his teething because he drools so much when he turned 5. Though there are no teeth growing yet. But I can see his gums are swelling.
But I'm thankful that for 2 straight nights, he already slept soundly. Thanks!
