The only concentration, or a lot of concentration?

I love to play drums. Playing the drums requires at least 4 concentrations, to create a different beat of the left hand, right hand, left foot and right foot. So, if you only need one concentration?

Hi. I am just a new drummer. For me, It's quite hard to concentrate all parts. But, I'm practising on it.

You can begin by tapping different between the right and left hand, as well as the right foot and left foot. You can do without tools. Exercise at hand while walking, and exercise the legs while sitting. Happy practice.

Do you play in a band? I would like to hear your recordings if possible. I think the drums and bass are the most important part of the band. They are essentially the foundation.

Yes, I play drums, bass guitar or keyboard. But now I prefer to play the guitar and singing, accompanied by a band. I agree with you. Music consists of tones and rhythms. Bassist is the leader of the tone, while the drummer is the leader of the rhythm. I have not been recorded in a professional manner. New try recording yourself at home. How do I share with you?

I have always been intrigued by drummers, how do you move all those parts at the same time? I suppose I do similiar things when driving, etc., but playing the drums is a very exceptional talent.

Yes, driving requires concentration on the steering wheel, transmission, mirrors, signs, and the situation on the highway. Perhaps the add talk to passengers and listening to music while singing. A lot of concentration!

I think i'll never learn how to play the drums then. I don't think i would be able to have that focus.

Dear hsofyan, You are really amazing to do that. Four concentrations? I can't do that. My husband often said i had uncoordinated movement. When i was a middle school student, in PE class, the PE teacher taught us "leap frog", all the class could do that except me. Don't laugh at me, I really tried my best. I don't know why even now?

I'm trying not to laugh reading your comment. But I failed after reading the sentence "Don't laugh at me". Sorry. I got the wisdom behind playing the drums. Now I can concentrate with some focus at once. Caopaopao, will be more valuable than ability. Happy trying and trying....
