It never ceases to amaze me how shallow some people can be, they say that they love a person and when things get tough they leave. I've had Bill ask the same question. There is no way I would leave his side if he got extremely ill. Shoot when he is suffering from a minor ailment I am by his side day and night. I was there through all of his kidney stone mess (including 5 trips to the ER when he couldn't stand the pain any further). You're the same kind of person I am, when you love a person it is unconditionally and totally. You carry the badge of honor that states that even if your loved one is seriously ill you will be there for them. You are such a beautiful person, and it is beauty that comes from the inside out. Unfortunately the guys we love can't get their heads around the fact that we won't leave, Bill asks the question often. I think it is from the insecurity of losing his first wife to another man. She dumped him for a guy that lived down the street. When Bill loves it is totally and completely. So she really ripped his heart out when she decided that the guy down the street was a better catch than Bill. I don't think a day goes by that Bill doesn't worry that I may find someone better. He is also terrified that if he gets really sick I'll dump him. All we can do is keep reassuring them that we love them and will be there for them. Hug your guy extra for me, and tell him again that no matter what you won't leave his side. That is what loving someone is all about! That is devotion! It sounds to me as if he's feeling down and very worried. Knowing you'll be there for him when he's at his sickest will reassure him. I hope they can find a transplant though and that he'll be on the mend soon.

It must have been hard in his situation. Maybe he just need someone who can be with his side knowing that his weak and stress because of his sickness and that`s you. He feels safe and secure with you. What you answered is really touching and know that he feels lucky to have you. I hope and pray that he will be healed and be healthy with you in the future.
