Can we earn through blogging even if we do not have our own website?

Now a days many people say that one of the best ways to earn on internet is to write blogs.
I do not have my own website and my knowedge is limited to few subjects. But I feel that I can write good blogs on somebody else's site. However, I have no idea as to where I can earn by posting blogs. I had created a page on webs.com. It is a free website. I did it just for fun.
Now can someone here guide me for earning by posting blogs if I do not have my own website. I understand that maintaining your own website is not so easy as it requires lot of work and lot of time also.
How can I earn by posting blogs?

That is very true my friend. One has to work hard to earn via blogging I have heard like that only. I am ready for that.

From what i understood read your post is that you don't want to create a blog but you want to earn from posting
well try writing articles in site like iwiriter, triond, bukisa, expertcoloumn and many more

Right now I do not have website and I do not intend to have one in near future. So as per advise I will try triond, bukisa and some other site and write articles on such sites. Thanks for the advise.

I also wanted to earn through blogging, though I have a blog but it is hard to maintain it because I am a bit busy offline doing some work. It would be of good benefit to me if I will earn through blogging without maintaining a blog or just going to post to someones blog. I wouldn't mind how much is the earnings for as long as I earn and enjoy what I am doing. There are sites that will recruit you to post in their blog but I haven't tried it yet.

You are right, as long as you enjoy working on something, little earnings will not hurt you. I am trying to work as a blogger for some of the websites so that without having my own website also I can earn through my own blogs. I also would not mind it much, if my earnings as little.
