Will you lend your cell phone to your friend?

The fact is that one must be beware when lending one's cell phone to a friend to use. Once my friend asked another friend to lend her her cell phone as she had an urgent message to send to her mother. My friend was kind hearted, she could not refuse. After some weeks she saw her boyfriend walking with her friend hand in hand. She was shocked and fell ill. When I went to visit her she asked me to investigate. After a few days of investigation I learnt that her friend had taken the guy cell number from her cell phone the day she lent it to her. Have you come out with such an incident?

No, this haven't happend to me before. I do lend my phone to friends when were out so they can call, but after that I get my phone back. They do the same with me, so it's pretty fair.

This has not happened to me either. But I never lend my cell phone for others to use because I don't like many people having my phone number. My number is a private number.

I think it is better not to lend mobile phones or when lending the mobile phone it is better to stand right near the friend and see what they are doing. I think only when we have very close friends whom we can trust should we lend our phones.

Not me either. I never lend my cell phone to anybody. I might allow her to call or send a text massage to somebody but not for him/her to take it home. How then would I receive calls and texts and vice versa by doing that? Second I myself never borrowed anybody's cell phone before.

oh my god what a terrible friend! Fortunately I have never come out with such an incident, I feel so bad to your friend who lend her cellphone for a friend like that. And how come that friend who borrow the cellphone did that to her? did she not feel guilty towards your friend who lend her cellphone? If I were the girl who borrow the cellphone I would not take my friend's boyfriend phone number and destroy they relationship like that.

I also think that most probably the friend is not a true friend and I also wonder why she does not feel guilty for taking the number of the boyfriend of your friend.

You are right. I tried to talk to both of them but the matter was becoming more complicated so I keep my distance from them. I really do not want to be betrayed as well.

pooooooh! what is bad friend. haha. I have had this once like this. I had this boy who liked me and I was not into him but I was talking to him and there was a high chance that I would have said yes. I always take my time. There is no hurry with me. So i was renting with my friend. so when this boy calls, my friend used to answer and she will not even tell me. she used to send and read messages from my fone to him. That boy asked me, why is she always answering my fone. I was irritated my her this habit. One day this boy asked me to go movies with him and told me not to bring my friend along. when I was dressing up, she was watching me and I felt sorry for her and I told her to dress up also. When the boy came to pick me up, he was surprised to see her with me. When we were in the theater she is holding the boys hands and sitting. I was very pissed and I told him to please take my room mate because she likes you. She forced a relationship with that boy but not for long..haha. she was dating 3 boys at a time. can you imagine that. I hate these kind of friends.

It's not happening to me even I lent more often my cellphone to my friends even they text for emergency or even they will borrow it only to play games and look for some interesting pictures. The main thing is I usually don't store important matter to my cellphone and I always backup my numbers in case they accidentally deleted the contacts. HAve a great day!

It's sad to hear that, but your friend should be glad as she have found out that is not a true friend, and the boyfriend is not faithful. I don't mind lending my cell phone to my friends to make phone call, I think it's totally fine. I trust my friends and my husband, and I don't think they will do something weird.

I actually lent one of my cellphone to my friend because she lost her phone because it was snatched when we was texting one day on a bus. Im not using it so i just lent it to her. I was telling her not to give it back to me since im not really using it but she refuses. She told me that she was going to return it to me one she bought a new one.

I would lend a friend my cell phone. I would tell them not to go over my minutes. I would watch them make the call, just to make sure that my friend gave my phone back to me as soon as they were finished using it.

Of course I would lend my cell phone to a friend, I don't see no reason why not do it. Honestly, this friend of your friend was actually not her real friend and she would find a way to find her boyfriend's number no matter if her lend or not the cell phone. The thing is: her boyfriend was a stupid guy and it was a good thing that she lends the cell phone because she lost less time with persons like that.

Hi friend, sad to hear about this news, really the girl is a cheat, she is not deserved for friendship, your friend is really innocent and thought the girl is a good friend, she back stabbed her. Surely this kind of cheating persons will get punishment from god

If taking a number from your cell phone is to blame for taking away the boyfriend, i would say the other girl was better for the boy compared to the one who lent the mobile. These days we have security settings on the mobile and access rights, keep your security settings and passwords on phone-book, messages and then I might lend my phone if necessary. And even at that moment i don't feel comfortable i might dial the numb er or type the message and then give it.

What? Really? What kind of a friend is that? Well, to answer your question honestly. YES, I am willing to lend my phone to a friend especially if his/her reason is that there's an urgent or important call he/she must take. I even lend my phone to a friend even if he/she only wants to play with some Angry Birds, or Fruit Ninja. I can't be too selfish in lending my phone to a friend just because he/she might do something disgraceful with it. After all, they are our friend and friends trust each other. It's just too bad for your friend to have such a traitor, stabbing her in her back.

Nope, never had that happen before, but that was awfully mean of this friend. However I have a good report on loaning a phone. I loaned my son my cell phone because his new job takes him in a bad part of the city and I wanted him to be able to call for help if he needed it. Unfortunately, I had misplaced the charger and had looked for it for days and then last night my son said to not worry about it, he bought me another charger for my phone..:)

If he just want to text someone and she's just near my sight maybe I would consider lending my cellphone but when it has to go out somewhere I should not because I don;t want to loose the friendship that we have because that cellphone might start a fight.

Will I lend my cellphone to a friend? Well, it depends what kind of friend is he/she because there are some friends that they won't give it back to you or they will use it in bad things as happened to you friend. Actually, we can't call it a "friend" because a friend is a person that will help you and will not betray you.
