Will slow Heather ever think about Ricky's computer

Heather is just not the sharpest bulb. She has had Ricky's stuff for a long time now and his computer should be included in that stuff. So is she ever going to have a computer expert check it out and find the deleted file of Ricky killing his girlfriend? The prime time shows do this sort of thing all the time. Are the Y&R writers so bad that they can't do the same?

If he deleted it, how can it be found? I am a bit PC challenged...but if there is a way (in the real world) to delete/erase all deletions..I'd like to know how! I am bored with this story line already. Bit on the dumb side.

Many prime time shows do this. If a file is only deleted than it still exists on the hard drive and a good computer expert can find. As far as I know the only chance of completely deleting files is to completely reformat the hard drive.

Ricky probably didn't have a chance to clean his trash bin, so maybe all of that incriminating evidence is still there just waiting on a expert to find.
