Just recently, I've started a daily routine to stroll around the subdivision with my 4year old and my 2month old baby, as additional exercise regimen for me. Its also a bonding moment for me and my daughters. The toddler would walk beside me and the baby is lying on her stroller. The bigger girl would sometimes push me aside so she can take my place on the stroller handle bar.
It's fun and healthy at the same time.
We would stop by a refreshment store to buy 2 glasses of shakes for me and my little girl.
Then, by the time we reach back home, the baby would be asleep. And, I put her back on her crib.
I look forward to 4:30pm everyday for this wonderful moment. Hoping for the weather to cooperate all the time.

Congratulations! This is absolutely wonderful for your daughters and for you. I am sure you already know that the girls are growing up too fast and changing so much. Every moment you can spend doing something positive with them is creating joy in your life. As they get older and do their own thing you can look back and laugh how you and the girls went out to share the day with them.
Do you have a camera you can take with you? Stop for a moment and capture the moment and watch them grow. Take different shots along the way and keep them in a treasured book or even digitally on the computer in a scrapebook. YOu can look back even in a month or so and see how they change. Write down what the 4 year old says and her language skills will be changing very rapidly. You are right, in that these are wonderful moments. I am so jealous enjoy them!

Your suggestions are really good. I have planned to start a scrapbook when I was still pregnant with my first baby, but never got to actualize it. I got to preoccupied with work and other stuff that I just can't find the time to get started on the artwork. I'm pretty sure my eldest would enjoy helping me with it this time. She's into arts, and she loves cutting, drawing, coloring, and all those stuff. I'm going to tap in to her artsy potentials, and when she's big enough, she can continue the scrapbook herself.

You have beautiful daughters and beautiful moment. I hope the weather can cooperate you all the time, and I hope your daughters are happy every moment. They must be because they have the mom who loves them so much. I have a daughter, too. My husband and I go out for a walk with my 7 year-old daughter almost every evening, sometimes we go to the park near my home, sometimes we walk to the supermarket , I choose some vegetabels and the other things we need, my daughter reads some books on the bookshelf, my husband stays with my daughter. I really enjoy that moment.

Wow, I hope we have a park nearby, too. The nearest park is in the next town, and a few minutes drive away, but since I don't know how to drive yet, it would be tedious for me to bring the kids there myself. And, its a hazard to commute with the 2 babies. We can only go to the next town's park if my husband is with us. Im so excited to learn to drive so I can do more things, and take my daughters anywhere I want.

It`s along walk for a toddler, but you are doing the best thing to regain your weight and to slim the way you probably want after childbirth. I have been told that the best way to do it is the sooner the better. Congratulations!

Yeah, but we walk on her pace. It's not a very long walk, but because she has tiny steps, it takes about 30 minutes. We would stop once in awhile, because things catch her attention like the neigbors pets, other kids playing on the way, and looking at people around. But, generally, its a fun activity that we cherish doing together. My husband envies us, and wanted to have the chance to walk with us, too. It's just that, he is still asleep at that time.
