I really love music, I love to play guitar. anyone here plays musical instuments?

I always wanted to play guitar but never could afford the lesson so I started learning myself, progress was slow but Ive been playing for 6 years now and have got pretty decent and now I am in a band doing vocals and guitar which is awesome, and somewhere along the way I have learn drum, bass and keyboard. I'd advise you get into bands even if you get nowhere its pretty awesome and fun.

Being in a band is the best way to improve and it keeps you motivated to keep getting better and if you write music (as I do) it also helps you write better, playing songs infront of an audience you see from their reactions which songs work and which dont, especially if its an audience that fits in well with your genre of music. Anyways my band are reasonably new and are called State Of A Nation! We are a 3 piece punk/rock band with an old school Green Day sound (or so we have been told). waw, thats great.. me too, I learned guitar by myself, I learned from CD, DVD, also the Internet. Yes I'm in a band too,, I really love to be in a band, it gives me many experiences and improve my skill.. I always wanna be a vocalist like you :). maybe you can tell me more about your band? so I can hear your song :)

yes for me band is like a familly, and I really love to perform in front of peoples, eventough i get nervous in the first minute :D . Okay, i will your band, I like greenday especially the "warning" album, I think I would love your song :)

Hey there! I can play guitar, keyboard and flute but the instrument that I often play is keyboard. it is fun to play those instruments and by playing them make me feel relax. Happy mylotting. :)

First off, welcome to mylot. I love to play. I play several different types of instruments. I can play a flute, piccilo (i think that is how its spelled), drums, guitar, clarinet. It relaxes me to play. I think the next instrument I learn is a saxaphone. That would be neat.

thank you, i love to be here :).. wow you are such a multitalented player, I wanna learn some brass section instrument, but i don't know how to start..hehe, so i think guitar is my instrument ..

I play only the guitar. My friend helped me learn it first and then I started progressing by myself. I'm okay in skill because I spend most of my time singing and playing at the same time. It's hard but manageable. Hope you do well!

yes me too,, i really love to play guitar, I really enjoying practicing guitar,, so i don't mind to prsctice it even for 4 hours in a day,, in fact Yngwie malmsteen practiceing guitar 12 hours a day.. hahah.. yes it's really hard, but that is my passion :)
