I have noticed it many times that my earnings is gone up by 1 cent and it is not even time of update. For example now, it was $12.90 when I started, I saw it go to $12.91 then to $12.92 after sometime and the back to $12.90. Now again it is gone to $12.91.. Can anyone tell me why it happens? Have you noticed it as well? What does it depend on? good day to you all

I think sometimes myLot do give some rewards for lucky members. Yesterday I use the myLot search engine which I rarely use. I was never so lucky to get a rewards for using it, but I just noticed that my earning went up by 0.2 cents. It may be also a glitch but I would think that sometimes, rewards do pour in times where we do expect it to come.

The recalculations and adjustments which happen from time to time are nothing to do with the Rewards. They are quite normal as it says here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#17 Keep using the Search facility as you would any search engine, in fact, make it your default search engine as described here: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2479267.aspx#up_cWcZKhwG6j81VcOpXJM3QolGGNnDz7bPsZWQ5OivLP4%3d The more you use it to find real, wanted information, the more likely you are to get rewards. I use it every day to search for all manner of things, including information to back up my responses here, and it regularly earns me nearly $2 a month.

From time to time they run the earnings program in a different (perhaps more comprehensive) way to take account of deleted discussions, discussion ratings and so on. The results are displayed in the individual earnings at the end of each run. I presume that the program is run in several stages and so will make small successive corrections each time it is run which would explain why it sometimes goes up and down several times in succession. What you can be sure of is that, by the time it comes to the end of the month, everything is completely accurate and up-to-date so that the figure you see once the last day of the month comes is what you have earned and what you will be paid 15 days later (if it is more than $10). Always remember that, as it says at the bottom of the Earnings page: "All amounts are estimates and are subject to change until final payments are made." and you should also read what it says here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#17 where it clearly explains more or less what I said above.

This is myLot adjusting for deleted discussions and other activity that can affect our earnings, even when we aren't doing anything.

Earnings in Mylot are based on our overall participation in debates here. The more we participate, the more we earn.If due to some reasons we end up responding to only a few discussions or/and add comments to the responses to our discussions on a particular day,we earn less.Recently I could respond to only one discussion and added only one comment to a response to my discussion. The next day I found my earnings up by only 1 cent.

Yes, I've seen the same too. If you check myLot FAQs, it explains the reason. I would've mentioned it all from there, but my rank is too low and I'm not permitted to copy & paste. You can have a look of the same here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#17 Nice to know that, you were aspiring to make $10 this month, you surplussed it. Good luck in the future as well!
