Hello guys, I just want to ask you what are the remedies to these questions, you can give your suggestions and even experiences how you overcame these events in your life since I encounter these problems every semester and I am getting frustrated that there is always a teacher in my class that gives me failing grades for no particular reason, one is in my humanities 1 a class this semester. He gave me 8/30 on my exam which really frustrates me since the exam is not identification, multiple choice but interpretation and application of humanities to a drawing. I find it unfair and I'm scared of having low grades in his subject because He's the only one who gave me that kind of score, my major subjects particularly Legal Philosophy, Criminal Law, Obligations and Contracts, Parliamentary Procedures, and lots more of Legal Studies subjects have high grades and scores in my exams and my class standing but when it comes to this minor and irrelevant subject I get 8/30 and my seat mates who are failing in our major subjects gets a score of 28/30? Any comments and suggestions? What should I do? It adds to my stress as a student and I think it's been another source of my insomnia and depression.

hello vaericke, double your effort on this subject- study more. Sometimes we study less on minor subjects. I am sure you had a problem every semester with different teachers? otherwise , transfer to another school. My experience was a professor failed me in one subject, normally a student reaction is to confront the professor and to enroll the said subject to another professor, you know what I did? i confronted the professor, enrolled in his class and prepared myself to answer all his questions in criminal procedure i took the prelims and was exempted in the midterm and final exams, and I passed the subject.

Thanks for replying. Yes I'll try my best this midterms, but if he still fails me in his exam then I will need to complain him. A while ago I saw some of our grades, almost all of the boys failed while the girls got line of 9 and I think there's something wrong with him already and he says that He computed wrong? Which makes me all the more nervous because my grades could fall off all the more.

Well, if you CAN really prove and point out that the Humanities teacher is being unfair to you, bring the whole issue to the headmaster of the school or university or whatever. If you are right, this teacher is going to be punished.

I'm a bit scared to confront teachers since I already have so many experiences in which they will retaliate with grades and since this teacher has been teaching for more than 20 years in school I'm scared because there had been issues already and these teachers are not being fired or something like that and usually they take it out on the students.
