hi mylot friends, Since 7 years I bathing with tap water mostly if I am at my place, but when on my tour if hot water facility is there, then I may prefer to take bath with hot water, there are also no availability of hot water, then I will take bath with tap water itself, in any climatic conditions ,that is the only alternative to me for bath, I cannot spend a single day without taking bath so , any how I make my with available water itself, I have seen that several people mostly prefer hot water only , even in summer itself they do prefer to take bath with hot water only, that is their wish, but I will adjust with any water for bath , what about you.

Yeah, I'm one of those people that prefer hot water. Not just normal hot water, either; I actually like really hot levels of water to the point where the next person who walks into the room complains about all the fog and how the room was so ridiculously hot. Maybe I should tone it down a bit... xD I don't travel a lot, though, so the climate doesn't really change. I live on the equator.

hi Quetzhal, thanks for the response, really it is ridiculously to take bath that much hot water, it is not good for health also, it may cause some burns on the skin also, so before taking bath carefully theck the hotness of water and took bath, when you are tour or travel how possible it is to get such hot hot water for you? have a nice day

Haha, I don't really use a -lot- of hot water- My baths tend to be rather short! The temperature of the water is another matter, but I've never burnt my skin (I never do it to the point of pain, but I do have a higher heat tolerance than most, I suppose). I don't really tour or travel, but when I do, I either use the hot water if they have it or just tolerate lukewarm/cold water. I can adapt, I just prefer the heat! I'm not really sure why, though.

Hello my friend yugasini Ji, We both are running in 74/67 yrs of age and we always take warm water bath to avoid health complications. During nmour young age, it wa snot like this at times during winter we will take tap running water bath. But I think warm water bath relieves lot of stree and produces more freshness. I also add dettol or something else. At times I may boil Neem-leaves and after straining, I will take bath to overcome skin diseases. May God bless You and have a great time

Hello my friend yugasini Ji, Well, in my case age does counts, as I surrender at this age of 67, I thought of peeping into your profile to compare if you are older and still sustaining cold water bath, but age was missing there. I am chronic patient of RA/HTN/DM2/UTI. So I am now habituated of warm water bath. But if I go for bathing to Ganges river, I become helpless to push electric immersion rod. I do take cold water bath with different feelings. May God bless You and have a great time

Till the age of 27 years, I used to take bath in a river (near to my home) and I used to swim for 15 mts. to 30 mts. depend on homuch time I got. Also, having 2 more small steams and a small river nearby, as per my choice I will select any of these source and I never used the tap or hot water till this age. Now, once I left my home and came to the city, I got only the tap (shower) water for bathing and at extrem cold (Dec-Jan) months also I prefer to take bath in the cold water only. I don't like use the guiser to get hot water and the other members at home also is ok with the tap water.

Hello Yugasini I prefer to take a bath with hot water because I get sick very easly. I am profesional music and singer, so I have to take care of my lungs and throat. 8 days ago, I had to take a bath with tap water, because the gas went off, to heat the water. So I did, because, when I was young I used to bath with tap water, but now I got sick. I´ve turned very delicate.

And the last time I got flu I had to be at bed for a week. I have some problems too. My parents got divorced and I think that sadness with stress if making me to be weak too.

Wow, out where I live, hot water is a mandatory condition in every home. Every house needs to have heat and hot water, or else it's illegal to be sold (as a residential home) or rented out. There is something really special to me about getting into a tub of hot water... of course, I only have baths once every few months, but I shower almost daily.

I live in Malaysia. Malaysia is situated just slightly above the Equator and as such it is very hot and humid. I bathe with room-temperature tap water in the morning, even though I sleep with the air-conditioner on. Not that I don't have a water-heater, in fact I have two water-heaters in two bathrooms, one each. In the evening the ambient temperature of the water is still hot as the result of the hot sun. So I take bath at night when it is cooler.

Hi, Malaysia has all year round hot and humid climate. We have rain aplenty. The average temperature is 30-35C during the day. At night may be around 28C which is still hot. So we sleep in air-con room. I have been to Chenai(Madras). It is hot too.

In my climate, winter is bvery cold and so hot water bathing is a must. If I wasn't able to have hot water to bathe in, I would rather not bathe at all. The reason that I feel this way is because of the fact that cold water tends to make me achy. I love to take a nice hot bath with water that is absolutely as warm as I can tolerate it on my skin. However, when it comes to a swimming pool, I actually am able to tolerate water that isn't hot.
