Stern becomes Nobody

Dawn Stern, a series regular on NBC's Viper and Fox's 413 Hope St, has landed the lead role in the ABC Family drama pilot Nobody. She plays a mother who gives up her own identity to save the life of her daughter. In doing so, however, she finds that she must pay the price of being erased from the memories of her family and the rest of the world. She ends up working for a covert ops branch of heaven dedicated to fighting the forces of darkness on Earth--while continuing to make sure her family is safe. The pilot starts shooting this month in Vancouver. Laura Benanti has joined the cast of ABC's drama pilot Eli Stone, starring Jonny Lee Miller in the title role as a lawyer who might be a prophet. Benanti will play an old college flame of Eli's who is now pleading with him to help her sue her insurance company after it refused to cover an experimental treatment for her autistic child. Benanti, a two-time Tony nominee, has appeared in such Broadway productions as The Sound of Music and Swing!
