I just want to brag...

So this discussion is me, bragging so hope you'll bear with me.
My son got a perfect score in his Math mastery test in school and he feels very proud because his teacher announced it not only his section but to the whole 3rd grade students. He was the only one who got the perfect score! As a mom of course, i am so so proud of him and I can't help but brag about that on here.
I'm not over acting right? Mothers have the right to brag about their children's success, right?
I just feel so proud that he has never let us down, especially when it comes to his academic performance. This school year he has an objective and that is to be better than he was last school year! I'm glad that he made this goal and we didn't even asked him that. He had his own taste of success from the time he started school and he wants more.

Movie night in the room with no studying is how we celebrated it.

Hello Sid! Sad to say we won't be celebrating this hahaha. If we do, we might go bankrupt every time there's an examination.
Have a great day my friend.

Any achievement that a child makes is something to be proud of by his parents.
How much more scoring perfect in a Math subject, which mostly would say it's their waterloo for a subject?
Be really proud Toni of having a son genius in Math. It's your bragging right!

I wasn't smart in Math during my grade school years and it was one of my weaknesses. I just hate numbers. They made my life complicated.@SIMPLYD (90717)

Just like you Toni, i hate Math also. Although, i am not that poor in Math.
I noticed that now that i am older, i can easily compute through my mind some calculations. So, i can say i am good in Math somehow.

Thank you for making me feel better. I am really very proud of him and I can just see how happy he is for such an accomplishment. But his dad told him, this shouldn't change the way he is. He must stay humble and shouldn't stop reaching his goal because this is just the beginning.

Hi toniganzon, congratulations for having such a bright kid
Of course, it is your right to be proud about your son. Any mother would be proud of theirs given the situation. You are lucky for having a bright son. I am not yet a mother myself but I do have one nephew and I am as proud as you whenever he got perfect score on his exam
Good luck to your son and may he continue to do well in school

I sure do hope so. Nobody forced him to set goals for himself and i'm glad that he did it on his own.
Someday when you become a mom, you will be acting just like me.

That's perfectly brag-gable, if I may say so! That's such a great accomplishment, congratulations to you and your son. I'm sure you're already proud of him, but this makes you even more proud, if that is even more possible. Had I been in your shoes, I would have splashed it all over social media like nobody's business. =)

You really should be proud of your son. Every mum will feel the same as you if their child did like that. My daughter got a certificate of merit back. and I was so happy, so I bought a box of barbie dolls for her. This final exam, my daughter got 100 marks in both maths and Chinese. I can feel what you feel. Haha, now I am bragging, too.

With my son's attitude, I have high hopes that he's going to keep it up. He has been consistently been giving us honour and now he's got higher ambition.

Congratulations for your child, and of course for you! Because the child's success comes from the house.

Well, certainly the results of your child's school, since they are optimal, they also give yourself a great personal pride.
In my opinion, however, is just always encourage the child to improve, always aiming to achieve goals (now in school, at work tomorrow).
Talking about you personally, as I say, is more than obvious that you feel proud of the academic performance of your beloved son.
Perhaps the talk of "bragging", well, im my opinion, I find it a bit (and forgive the term) exaggerated.
Maybe do it yourself, but if you show yourself in front of perhaps vain to other mothers, could result in them a sense of envy toward you.

That's why i don't brag to others. Only here on my lot. I don't want to create an envious environment.
It was the other parents actually who told us about that. They found out first before we did. But I never bragged to them about that. I think parents who are envious are very shallow.

Thank you so much. I would surely tell him that. As of the moment he's preoccupied with his drawings.

When are you celebrating this success? I would have asked for an invite for sure if I was staying nearby
