You should practice by doing it online here and at other online sites. Practice this way and then pick someone you trust and do it in person. It doesn't have to be that you can't share your true feelings. Your just used to doing it that way. If you practice giving your true feelings in small steps you will then get used to doing it that way, and not sharing your feelings will seem like a thing of the past.

You can start it with your family. If you are not comfortable expressing your feelings to your family- that would be hard to share it with other people. I am always open with my family- or shall I say that me and my siblings are close to each other so we are open when it comes to sharing what we feel. Therefore, you should start it with your family. Then, you will be comfortable sharing your feelings to your friends too.

You know what it's not really a good habit to keep your feeling to yourself because you might burst out and unconsciously you will feel that you are gradually experiencing depression because you have not let it out.

It is not good when you feel heavy. share it out to us mylotters. Like this how you feel heavy, it kills person from inside. You have to open up more and talk what you feel. Please gracie, Share what you have in your heart and you will feel better.

Practice makes perfect! And have a bit more of self-esteem. Just think, how would you expect people to treat you any better when you yourself can't even do it for you? I know it's hard if it's really so out of your character, but it really doesn't happen overnight. It's a gradual change for the better. You will get over it, but you have to do something about it. It wouldn't just happen for you out of the blue, you also need to work on it.
