What type of ballroom dancing do you do?

I'm curious as to what everybody on mylot does in terms of ballroom dancing. I have done the waltz before and enjoyed it!

I have never done any ballroom dancing but I have always wanted to do it! I think it would be a blast. I love dancing but the lessons for ballroom are expensive here unfortunately.

You should try! Do you live near a college? Try joining a dancing club on site if they allow non collegiate students to join. Usually, they do charge a fee, but it's much lower and you learn so much more than a dancing class.

I do live near a college. I had no idea I could do that. Thank you, I will definitely look into it. I have always wanted to dance, I don't know if I would be good at it but I feel like I would. Something in me tells me I should dance. =) Thanks again!

I absolutely love swing. Swing is so fast and upbeat and lots of twirls and movement. I believe it is a fore runner of rock and roll so it was easy to learn. If you watch the dancers they all look like they are having such a fun time and is so easy. Try it - you will like it.

I did do east coast swing before. However, I want to learn lindy hop or west coast swing and increase my skill.
