Hey there Gang, Well as most of you that knows me that I am a staff nurse in a local hospital here in my area and that it has been a while for me, so i have seen a lot of different simple cases of disease, but one thing that is truly awesome to me and is really something that i would like to share my dear friends out there that there are more painful things in a hospital than getting shots or sometimes getting cut since you have anesthesia, it would be the removal of your IV. Yes when you are all discharged by your doctor and the IV will be removed as a last clinging part of the hospital on you. The Trans-pore tape that is used to hold the IV lines properly in your arms are designed to stick on your skin for good hold that the IV plastic needle will not be moved and that even if it gets wet it will still be holding on, it is so sticky that removal of it is painful for those weak of pain threshold and especially for those with hair around there arms, all we can do is damp it with alcohol so that it would loosen up but still it is painful as heck.
