I don't know about where you Live,but here in Ireland (and the UK) there's a sometimes used tradition that a Woman can get to propose in a Leap Year on Feb.29th..I haven't yet met a couple who have done this,though!

Hi Spy,
I went thru the link and it is really different kind of approach! But from my point of view love can be expressed first from a boy or from a girl. It is not Mandatory that boy should always propose his love! But Feb 29 might be a special day for girls to propose their love. Hope all the girls whoever is in love will make use of the day!

I have to say that this is unusual for a girl to propose to a guy. It is opposite to the tradition. Since most girls are so proud and they dream and expect their men to propose to them. If a girl really proposes to a guy, probably he has to say yes:)

Well, you can if you have the guts lol. If only during my youngsters I have the guts maybe I counted many boyfriends, I will proposed to all my crushes.. But we here in the Philippines sadly we are shy to have the first move to guy...Even at my age now lol. I can't do such thing, still I'm bit old fashioned even our technology is advanced now :). ... Congrats to gutsy ladies....

Yes, a girl can proposed to a guy for a change. I have some friends who proposed to their partner and it's very memorable and sweet. I think there are some guys who really love their girlfriend so much but dont have enough courage to proposed because they afraid or worried that might reject them so the girl I need to take charge and do the thing. That's was happened to my friends before and they happily married until now.

Ya, at least in India it is possible. My sister-in-law proposed my brother 6 years back when they both were classmates. And my brother after having an affair for 2 years with her, married her in 2008. In today's world everything is possible.

Of course, I think it is normal to for a girl to propose to a guy.We are in the 21st century and it shouldn't really be a big thing if a girl proposes to a guy hehe. Also it does make sense if a girl proposes to a guy I mean seriously if a girl likes a guy why not just tell him? maybe he is too shy? if you just tell him it's always better and a guy won't be waiting for ages, it's the same as girls lol. So, yes I believe its possible and Normal now.

Yes, if a girl wants to propose, that is fine. For me personally, I hope the girl makes a huge proposal so that he is so impressed that he just has to say yes. I believe in going big or going home. If she loves him enough, she should just do it!

If love is in sight, a girl can certainly propose a guy. It happened in the past in all parts of the world if I can say so. If a girl is very much in love with a guy or fond of him but the guy is not so sure of it or just not quite aware of it then the girl may propose to the guy. It is actually a good thing that like guys girl can also propose in the first place.
