i just watched this at last, i have wanted to watch it for a long time. It was a nice movie, i really love Mel Gibson's directing, he should direct more movies. 
it's about the decline of the mayan civilization and their belief that sacrificing people is a solution.. It was such a gripping movie, would have wanted a part 2.

i too really thinks the usage of actual ancient mayan language gave th emovie the realism it deserved...10/10

Apocalypto is a good movie to watch, the way the movie tells about Mayan kingdom is good.
Mel Gibson did direct movie well, one of the good movie worth watching ...

Oh yes, that is a brilliant movie... I have seen it twice in the cinemna hall and many times since that, on television... The direction is of course good and the story-line is based on good virtues or aspects of human nature... It gives an idea as to what kind of life it must have been before a few hundred years... I love the movie, especially the last race between the dying and his captors...

yes.. he have made two outstanding film in its native language..
classic aramik in Passion of the christ..and ancient mayan language in APocalypto
,,brilliant..
unlike that tom cruise movie..Valkyrie..where everyone sounded Australian or Brits..or American..audience lost that sense of germany in the movie and from the cast.. Inglorious Basterd" is a much better WW2 film using actual language..in a situation.

I've watched this movie many times. I really like it especially when the main character run for his life.
I love Mel Gibson..all of his movies. :)

yes..that part where he runs for the first time while being thrown spear etc.. is the most realistic part..awesome film..5 stars..

Great movie...all things that have to there in a movie to make it a success are present in this movie in abundance.Starting with the fantastic direction of mel gibson the list of the merits of the movie goes on and on...the film prents a almost lifesize image of the mayan civilization and for the duration of film transports the viewers to the times of the mayan people.I for one thouroughly enjoyed the movie.
