Do you suggest me to buy now a PSVita?

As per title I am a fanatic of sony consoles since first model of ps1 was born and was sold in Italy and I want to buy a PSVita but I really do not know if it deserves because I know that for the moment it has a bit of games and the hardware is not as perfect as someone could expect! What do you think?
