When a friend of mine asks for my advice on how to get pregnant the soonest, I always tell them to stay away from being stressed as much as possible. But then I read an article that says stress may cause infertility, but only in very rare cases – the likes of living in a war-torn country. According to the interview with a reproductive endocrinologist, only extreme stress can affect ovulation. Furthermore, it is more common for infertility to cause stress. Thank you for these articles to clarify things for me.

Stress can interfere with a woman's menstrual cycle so technically it can cause issues with fertility. However, it is only one of many factors otherwise, modern women, especially those with little education or money, would hardly ever get pregnant.
