Is it advisable to Go for a Rented Apartment or Rather Buy one by taking a loan?

I would go for a rented apartment,than buy one by taking a loan. I am not one who likes taking loans from any financial institution. I would prefer staying in a rented house till the time I have sufficient funds to buy at least a small apartment.
