blatter said that platini is the strong candidate for the next FIFA president.. what do you think about it?? the second period of Blatter will be ended in 2005 and it means he can`t participate in the election of FIFA president.. blatter said that in one point , you must stop and he try to reach until 2015.. Blatter said that Platini had shown his record when leading UEFA in his period..Blatter believes that Platini is ready for the position (FIFA president)... blatter close his statement when he said that Platini will be the good FIFA president.. what do you think about performance of Platini when leading UEFA??

Michel Platini is one of the greatest ever midfiel - Michel Platini is one of the greatest ever midfielders in football.
I don't know how well will Platini perform as the FIFA president. He was a great player in his playing days, but it is a completely different business to lead a very important organization, to admin it and to bring the game forward with a vision. I am not satisfied with the present and the previous FIFA presidents. I blame them for not taking fast the step to use technology to help the referee making correct decisions on the field. So, I would welcome a new guy to do the job, and I hope Platini can do it. I am a great fan of him when he was still a player so I guess my views on him would be a bit pro-Platini naturally. He was a player before so he is in the know about the life of professional footballers. With him in the helm, it is likely that the future FIFA plans and regulations would give more considerations from the perspective of the players.

i think Platini make a new something for UEFA.. he offer a new rule and it is called financial fair play.. it is good for organizing the clubs under UEFA from bangkrupt.. he even become a player, and he more knows the situation of player than Sepp blatter..

of course it is good concept..it can protect the weak club...the club like Palermo, Sampdoria which have a good player and can`t pay their stars like bigger club like Manchester city and PSG will be survive because of this concept.. I do hope it can be applied sooner

The Financial Fair Play plan by the UEFA is a good - The Financial Fair Play plan by the UEFA is a good plan
'Financial Fair Play' is a good concept. It limits the expenses in salaries and transfer fees to make sure that the clubs won't over spend, and it also forces the clubs to settle their dues in a timely basis so that they will always stay solvent. So that is a good plan by Platini's UEFA. To choose between the two, I will take Platini 100 times out of 100 times over Sepp Blatter.

I would actually like to see a non-UEFA president for FIFA. After the long reign of Blatter, I think FIFA needs this change. But of course, Platini is going to be one of the favorites to succeed Blatter. Cheers! Ram

I am not sure if Platini would be the best choice. Lets face it. He is bias against team from the England. He slammed manager like Wenger for stealing youth players from other clubs and the english clubs for spending gross amount of money. Yet, he has hardly said anything about the likes of Real Madrid and the amount they spend on players like Ronaldo, Kaka and Benzema. He has also remain muted when Barcelona and its player goes around tapping up others. So someone with such open bias, he should never be the chief of UEFA, let alone FIFA.
