Does anyone know how hair follicles and pores work?

That pesky mole hair on my face I have is just annoying. I am constantly pulling the hair. I know it's a sign of it being a healthy mole though so I'm not concerned with it. However, the hair still annoys me. I don't want to get laser hair removal because as odd as it sounds I'd miss being able to pull it out. I'm an odd one. Does anyone know how hair follicles work? When I pull this hair out sometimes it has a "glaze" "clear" piece on it and I would think that's close to the root of it. I even have a little "ball" type thing on the end of said hair sometimes and I've been certain several times that I finally got the root.. It still grows back. Does anyone know how the pores and hair follicles work?
